Did you know that calcium ions are one of the chemical components found in limestone? It's a tiny molecule, tiny enough to penetrate the hair, up to the cortex.

Over time, this can make your hair more rigid, brittle and easier to break, especially if your hair is processed.

After 12 patents and more than 600 tests, Kérastase found the right combination of citric acid (to remove the calcium) and glycine (to repair the damage) that gives Première its power.

The citric acid, at 3% concentration traps the calcium and eliminates it, helping to neutralize dullness and stiffness. The glycine, at 5% concentration, is tiny enough to penetrate the deepest layers of the fiber to recreate the hair’s strength. Finally, filler peptides - a chain of amino acids - refill the hair surface with matter.

Et voila! The hair returns to its premier state.

Première Iconic product is the Concentré Décalcifiant Ultra-Réparateur. It is the most concentrated in pure acids, to decalcify and dramatically reduce persistent damage.

It should be applied generously on wet lengths before shampoo. Don’t rinse and layer Première Bain directly on top to maximize efficacy.
